You know I agree with you, sister. There is no need to involve Lord Darro in these discussions; While I do not question his loyalties, with Maelor Zorander and his loyal so close I cannot be sure that Darro’s thoughts are uncompromised. I will travel to Arcanix myself in guise and seek out this group; Raulo ir’Trannik informs me that they have staged their own assassination and taken flight, but I should be able to pick up their trail and follow if it comes to that.
I don’t know… it sounds like it would hurt. What would Chancellor Varda do? Probably make a giant eagle appear but instead of feathers it’s made out of fire and instead of an eagle it’s really a dragon. One day, Vim. One day. Anyway – I’ll need some time to think about it … It does seem easier than studying…
Zwaha the Unproven
Then I am to be warden, and this will be my charge. While by appearance this group appear weak, they weave the magics of the elders and strike with the fury of our storm-sisters and storm-brothers. Reclaiming my oathblade will demand much of me. And so it shall be. I will earn my clan name even if I may only speak it with my final breath.
Gabriel said nothing of Kit being involved; She fled our people years ago and is dead to those loyal to the Claw. I know enough to know this decision will not have been made lightly. If news of her reappearance spreads through the Order, there will be outcry… Revolt, even. I should cast my mind to other things, though; I will also be without a pack to call my own when I return.
We’ve cleared out the basement, but Staunch is convinced there are more rooms down there. Says he used to do labour for Cannith and that this is, for the most part, a normal checking stop station except for the lack of rooms down there. Should we check in with Bastard and see what he wants us to do, or do we take the initiative and start bashing in walls. Right, well, being that as what like it may, if there’s more ghostbeasts hiding back there somewhere, we’ll be knowing about it soon enough. Perhaps we barricade the stairs, just to be safe for the time.
Excellent Vella; Yes, and return to the guard position… Good. Alright Tolar, you and Vella spa while I go and speak to Vim. Careful not to get hurt – the weapons might be wooden, but they’ll still take out an eye. I’ll be back shortly.
Thank you, Milton. I think for the time being, the best thing would be to go about our daily business as though it were any other day. I’m sure that given my station, and given his, it will not take long to dissuade our watchers and anyhow, unless something comes unhitched, the plan should all but follow itself. I’m sure if something were to go awry, those immediately involved will have the intuition to handle it. We’re Sentinel Marshals, after all.
My Lord, construction will be complete with a week to spare. Must we continue to feed the cattle? Their constant pleas are not good for the morale of our men; perhaps if we do not give them water for a few days they will at least quiet down some. A most brilliant idea, Lord: We will ensure that what they witness done to one of them will keep the rest quiet for the weeks to come.
My Liege; You know that I am your most humble servant and would never seek to question or even to comprehend your plans… however I may be able to serve you more completely if you could but share with me the reason that we are helping this elf dragon abomination; From what my scryers are able to glean, if her intentions comes to fruition it will mean ruin to not just our plan, but most, if not all of our assembled forces!
Girl nice to Bogle. Girl feed Bogle and play with Bogle. Bogle keep nice girl safe. Bogle protect while wait for bear queen come back.
This place really isn’t so bad as people say. A bit dreary, sure, but once you’re inside you could be basically any monolithic onyx ziggurat. Ha. In any case, once the construction completes and Endaris receives the final shard, we will be as gods; Twisting the very planes themselves to our whim. I’m not sure we can fully trust our appointed Lord-General, but so long as we keep the forge alight we will keep hold of our dominion over him, and through him, his flock. Speaking of; Cune – Fetch me one from the pen outside. An elf, this time, I think. I’m in the mood for a challenge.
I would have thought Trolanport to be… well… smaller, honestly. I’m sure Maelor has good reason for my being here, but surely he knows very well the The Trust watch my every move. Perhaps that is why I have been kept so in the dark about this “relic” I am to intercept. What is this now? I have never seen a Drow in the flesh before! Surely this isn’t my contact; What could draw more attention than a uniformed official of Aundair meeting with a Drow dressed in naught but paint in a city of Gnomes?! Maelor; For your sake and mine, I do so hope that being noticed is part of your intention…
