Hello kiddie twinkles,
It has been a while since I’ve written, I know but my have I been on some adventures. I made some new friends along the way as well.
We had an unfortunate little whoopsy where my new friend Luna had to stop an evil monster baby from hurting us, but don’t worry she stopped it and we are all fine and dandy.
I’ve been able to practice my skills on tracking and trapping while I’ve been away. I was helping to keep my new friends safe and sound.
While we were in a cave a magic book made a giant ball of fire come down on us. It hurt Luna quite a lot but my other friend Magnus was able to help everyone and we are all OK; not a scratch. Lynx was even there trying to help fix everyone up. He does so love going on adventures and this time we had to clear the cave of some bad blue men and Lynxy poo got to have a tasty rare snack. He looked like he really enjoyed it!
He seems to have taken a delightful shinning to my new friend Lyn, but I do so hope that Lynx isn’t causing any issues with Lyn; I wouldn’t Lynx to be bothering Lyn.
We were also able to rescue a farm lady. She lives on a farm just like both of you do. I bet she has as much fun on her farm as you do on yours.
I know you both love to hear about all the funny, strange things that I find on my travels. This time, in the cave, I found a magic wand and a stone with some writing on it that I can’t read. Maybe I’ll find someone who can read it for me. I also found some magic potions and a piece of metal jewellery; it quite pretty.
Going through the cave we had to light many, many torches to see by but Luna is magical and she can make magic light and put in on anything she wants. It’s wonderfully useful and means I don’t always need to carry a torch. It was wonderful of her to provide the light for us.
In this cave we found a magic wall which looked like it was there but really wasn’t, and we were all able to walk right through it. There were lots of bad guys through the magic wall, but don’t worry no one was too badly hurt and we were able to stop all of them.
Kit, you remember Kit right kiddies, my friend who can turn into animals, well she turned into a very, very big horse. We were inside a cave and suddenly I see a huge horse helping us stop the bad guys. IT was wonderful to see. I had to protect Lynx for a bit as he got hit by an arrow but you know that Lynxy poo can’t die, still I do so hate it when he’s hurt. I had to revive the silly kitty again. Sometimes I think he cares more about me than he does himself.
Lynx also got a little toy to play with for a while. He looked like he was having such fun with it.
We kept going through the cave and had to get past some magic chains that were on the floor. I have no idea how they work but Kit was able to crouch down and let us all get passed, somehow. I don’t know. She does some very useful magic does that Kit. The poor farm girl was trapped in them, but I was able to save her from them. Just think of it, me rescuing someone! Delightful.
Through some more of the cave we came across a big bear trap but it didn’t seem to want to go off. Do you remember the one I had and how if you poked it with a stick it would fly closed and break the stick; this one didn’t seem to want to do that.
Then we came across some smaller blue bad guys who were giggling at us (just like you two used to giggle at little old me). Lynxy poo bit one of them, he got it really good but then the poor Lynx got hit by a mushroom. That’s right kiddie winks, Lynx and I saw a giant mushroom, actually three. They came to life and started helping the bad guys.
Once there were mushrooms around Lynx did not want to be there any more, needless to say he came back to hide behind me until we took care of all of them.
Out of nowhere I saw a blue bad guy who looked like the bad guys king. I must say that I made an amazing shot that flew right past Magnus and killed the bad blue king. It was quite an amazing shot if I do say so myself. Lynx saw it, he knows how good it was.
Oh my dears, I almost forgot to tell you about the most amazing thing. We saw an earth elemental. I’ve never seen one before but it appeared to come out of a statue. Thankfully it didn’t harm us, I don’t think we could have beaten him. Magnus was very sweet and gave it a bunch of mushrooms and we were able to walk away safety. Fancy that, an earth elemental.
I don’t remember if I told you about my magical little brooch, but it’s got a beautiful butterfly in it that I can use to send to places that I can’t see. We found a large cliff inside the cave, which Lynxy just climbed down to eat a pile of gross, but I sent my butterfly away so I could see where the cliff and the water at the bottom went.
I also got to see Kit turn into a frog. We needed to go across a river and I didn’t really feel like getting wet. I never can tell what she’s trying to say when she’s an animal.
Oh won’t you just listen to little old me. Talking and talking about myself without asking how you both are. I hope you’re both growing into wonderful adult humans; I’m sure you are. How is all your practice going. I bet you’ve both gotten very good at the bow; I hope you’ve been out there every day practising just like I showed you. I expect a full report on your progress.
